One clear downside of improving my desk setup is that I inevitably want to use it more, spending more time at the desk. I did get and install the third VESA arm today, but this is not - I think - the post about that.
I am not sitting at the desk right now, after all.
How could I write properly about the setup without using it?
Yes, colours
New versions of IOS, Watchos, and Macos came out today. They apparently patched a collection of security issues, but I had not read about that yet and mainly set off all the update processes on various machines to try out the new pride watch face and phone wallpapers. They were well worth the wait. Nice and colourful to look at, the real charm is in seeing them move. The phone wallpaper in particular, feels a bit … blurry, almost, when static. There are so many mono coloured sprinkles that they blend together, looking a bit like some kind of stylish smeared paint effect. But the animations when you awaken and unlock your phone are great. They make me want to have many more animated wallpapers.
Dog gear
Motivated and inspired by the latest Cortex episode's sudden dive into dog-related hardware, we finally upgraded from plain old collar to harness. Maja has been more accepting of this newfangled idea than I perhaps expected. I have noticed on the first few walks that she seems to resist more when I want to start moving while she does not. At first I thought that she was perhaps feeling uncomfortable, not wanting to be out in that silly harness. But then, it struck me that it could be a sign of being more comfortable. Being pulled by your neck seems like a horrible experience. Being pulled by something comfortably wrapped around your chest makes leaning and pushing back a lot more comfortable, and I guess it might give you better leverage as well?

Speaking of episodes
We released the third episode of Synk, our Swedish-language productivity podcast, today. I think it came out really well, and it feels like we are finding a form for the podcast.
The first form, anyway. I would not be surprised if there are more forms to be discovered later on.
I keep trying to think of and find good places to write a note about the podcast, places where potential listeners might hang out. So far, I have come up pretty empty. Guess I still am not much of a marketer …
