On Saturday evening it was my great and unexpected pleasure to watch Neposlusni (The disobedient) which was showing as part of this years' Gothenburg international film festival. I went in without any expectations on or knowledge of what I was about to see. I came out uplifted and rejuvenated. Neposlusni is in large part about growing up, but most importantly it reminds me of childlike wonder. Playing mysterious games, finding beauty in the smallest details. When was the last time you thought about trying to make saliva bubbles with your mouth? Me neither, but it is never too late to rediscover.
When did sunlight last look so dreamily beautiful on film?
