Swedish instrumental retro synth kind of musical strangeness. Started on the C64, and I can feel a connection to the music of those days. Definitely worth a listen, it's free after all!

Upload an exported iTunes playlist and this page tries to find all the album covers on Amazon. Works. Takes some work.

The best place to download music. Or used to be, until about yesterday. Now it's virtually as dead as Napster. Sure, it was more or less a question of time, but it's still annoying when it happens.

I haven't even listened to a second yet, but that's rather secondary. A band that releases their whole album, completely free of DRM and in high quality, for free downloading deserves all the free promotion they can get. And a purchase if they sound good, of course.

The High-Voltage SID Collection, a huge (in number of files, over 20000 and counting!) archive of music made on and for the Commodore 64.
Niclas whipped up a little page that puts your web browser's character encoding and translation capabilities to work on mp3 files with information that is incorrectly interpreted by iTunes. Upload the file, copy the proper characters into iTunes. Nice.
