It's still Saturday, but things will only remain that way for less than two hours. The day has passed surprisingly quickly, especially for being so completely relaxed and slow-paced.

I started the day early by staying in bed until late.

It's just
wonderful
when things go so according to plan.

During the day I've spent a few hours watching my last few TED talks, giving myself a false sense of accomplishment.

There are
of course
much worse things
to get such a feeling from.

Ellen and I may be getting into a period of more reading as well, which is just great. After my birthday reading material I've ordered some more books and Ellen has started on the Hitch-hiker's guide.

She seems to be enjoying it too, but of course I'm almost morbidly biased.

At work there are a couple of shelves of very random books. A bunch of novels, a thick "Teach yourself Windows XP in 21 minutes inside a nutshell for dummies", a few historic accounts (the kind full of witness accounts of Germans and Russians being monstrous to eachother, which I for some reason find so easy to get into). In short it feels very much like someone's home bookshelf placed in the lunchroom. So, while waiting for my ordered books to arrive, I brought home Små citroner gula and devoured it in a few very enjoyable hours over three days.

It's great to read, that's all I want to say.

Wearing red underwear makes me feel like Superman's intellectual superior.

I know in what order to put my clothes on.

Side note: if you or someone you know has opinions and tips about things to do (or not do) in Verona, Venice and perhaps Milan, we're highly open to suggestions. We have tickets proving our intention of spending an August week in the area, and with a bit of luck we'll even have accomodation soon.

And it's high time I get myself a new camera ...

In any case, I think it's time to give other people a chance to use the bathroom now ...
