So here I am, trying out a new web browser, of sorts, again. Built on top of Mozilla, the same foundations as Firefox and apparently much hyped (I've missed all of that it seems). The nice thing is that it's trying to put new sides into web browsing.
It also puts its own skin on Firefox. Nothing special, at least not until you look at the progress indicator.
Let's take a closer look at that, shall we?
I'm pretty sure all the more innovative features will be covered to death elsewhere. I haven't really tried them, but I don't feel any real need to make my browsing more interactive and engaging. I surf enough as it is ...
And of course I immediately started missing Opera's mouse gestures.
But even if I may not fall for this I think it's great any time some more variation shows up in the browsing space. And I know tons of people will have lotso of fun with blogging support, bookmark sharing and the like. A possible start, sign, continuation (pick as you like) of some bigger movement, I believe.
