Imagine the following:

You have a pack of four pork chops.
You knew quite well that you most likely wouldn't be cooking them all at once.
You also had all the necessary facilities (i.e. plastic bags) for freezing two of them or all four in two different packacges.

So why didn't I, one might ask? Which is exactly what I'm wondering right now, sitting here with one solid block of pork chops defrosting a little in the fridge, hopefully just enough so I can tear off two and use while refreezing the other two again. I'm such a great planner ...

Well, I guess this wait is as good a time as any for getting rid of the huge heap of dishes that have accumulated once again and totally against my will ...
