Just back from a day trip to Stockholm. Could have been nicer if it hadn't rained all the time :-) ...
We were decently touristy, browsing a good deal of shops in and nearby Gamla Stan and collecting a decent amount of tourist information brochures and maps. Then we got bored when places started to close and took an earlier train home. Long live unbooked tickets!
Now, we're back at the base camp, going through the photo harvest of the day and listening to My Life Story. Seems like it was ages since I listened to any of my CDs, and it probably was. I've even bought two CDs while Bonnie has been here, and of those I've only listened to one, and that one only a couple of times. Bad form, man! But I'll make up for that, or something ...
The problem with listening to a nice CD you haven't heard for a while is that it makes you reluctant both to pause it or leave it and go and do something else that you might want to do. Yes, pretty damn minor I know, but one needs to have something to complain about . Who knows what might happen to the balance of the world otherwise ...
