I would be curious to know, what was mister Coupland after with Jpod?
Sure, it is a pretty entertaining story,
easy enough to read
and a skillful emulation of a scrapbook or weblog.
Still, it is
Zeitgeist capturing and everything, it is more of the same. I am curious what the driving force was? Martin jokingly suggested to me that "Microserfs sold well" was the explanation, but I do not think that holds. Perhaps quality material of the same style kept on appearing and the only right thing to do with it was put it in a book?
Random good thing about Jpod and Microserfs: they make my working days feel quite productive and focused.
In any case, Jpod is a good and quick read. So it is time well spent, but my curiosity will not leave me.
