Suddenly, everything sorted itself out.
I don't mind at all.
Yesterday we started looking for accomodation in Göteborg for the middle of next week. We called around to different hostels at increasing distances from the city central, getting negative responses everywhere. Nope, no double rooms, sorry. And the last place we called today was even full in the dormitories. After that place we did some mental sighs and thought we'd just call the first place we'd called. That one was really central, and had mentioned that they still had a few dorm beds left. Central dorm room is better than nothing, so I called back.
"Hi, do you have any beds left in the middle of next week?"
"We'll see, how many people would that be?"
"Two."
"Okay, we've got a double room here, would that be okay?"
"Eh, yeah, great, thanks!"
Yeah, I know people can undo their bookings and things like that but heck, the whole city has seemed booked, and then suddenly a double room turns up just from one day to another.
Remember, I'm not complaining at all!
